Mia Sarapochiello was born  in Brooklyn Heights, New York on June 19, 1967. She later shortened her name to Mia Sara. Her father, Jerome Sarapokiello, was a specialized photographer and her mother, Diana, was a creator. Mia has a younger sister, Cassie. Shortly after Cassie was born, her parents divorced. The sisters were raised by their mother. Mia Sara received her primary education at St Anne’s School in Brooklyn. There she graduated from high school, which she graduated in 1985. Career life of Mia Sara:

Mia researched acting to overcome her shyness in high school, taking on the roles of Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Her professional acting career soon began with television commercials at the age of 14. These assignments also helped her earn some pocket money. Thereafter, she landed a recurring role in the 1982 soap opera All My Children. Even before graduating from high school, 16-year-old Mia was offered the role of Princess Lily in the 1986 film Legend, opposite Tom Cruise. The lead role in this fabulous movie brought Mia’s attention.

Gradually, she began appearing in other major roles, such as Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend Sloan Peterson, in the 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. In 1996, she was seen in the films “Pompom of Love”, “Midnight in St. Petersburg” and “Crazy”, but none of them was able to attract the attention of the audience.

Mia continued to work for TV shows and films and appeared in the films Chicago Hope and Underdark in 1996; “Bullet to Beijing” and “20,000 Leagues under the Sea” in 1997. Finally, after appearing in many low-budget films, TV shows, and movies, Mia returned to the spotlight as Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey, a Batman spin-off.
