Twitter is one of the most used applications in the world which is mainly used by important people and celebrities to tweet all the news of their life. The app was launched in 2006 and has been gaining users every day. The app currently has 217 million monthly daily users. Everyone loves adding Bitmojis, they help you express yourself on a digital platform like never before. They allow you to dress as you like, make your face and hair exactly in your image. Bitmojis have also been gaining in popularity, so they’re not just restricted to Snapchat, they’ve now made their way onto Instagram under the name of avatars and are making their way to Twitter as well.

Twitter is currently experimenting with a new addition to the app that will allow users to display their adding Bitmoji as their Twitter profile picture. This will allow people to use their digital avatar as a means of representation outside of Snapchat.

In a screenshot posted by famed reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, Twitter is testing the new Bitmoji feature with an Add Bitmoji option to connect your Bitmoji account to Twitter’s. This will also link your Twitter profile to your Snapchat account because, as you can see, Snapchat owns adding Bitmoji. In other words, this feature will provide users with a direct link between their Twitter and Snapchat profiles. Also, this is probably the first time the two have partnered on a new integration of this size.

That’s very interesting if we talk from a competition perspective since both applications operate largely in a very competitive environment. But this should be noted that Twitter doesn’t have any adding Bitmoji creation tools of its own, so it looks like Twitter is asking Snapchat for help.

This also benefits Snapchat, as it has been looking for ways to make its adding Bitmoji characters a bigger part of the in-app experience, even launching branded clothing so users have more ways to express themselves and their identity on the app. the application. All this expansion is making sense as each day we move into the future where the Metaverse will be our main point of interaction which we will do with our digital avatar versions.
