Some associations existing in human society are aimed at developing certain types of relations between people. For instance, class relations are established by means of dividing people into classes in accordance with certain principles such as the income level and background. Labor unions are established as associations aimed at protecting the members of the unions from poor working conditions and providing them with appropriate defense. However, some labor unions are aimed at protecting the employers from dissatisfaction of employees by means of negotiating. In this respect, there are different organizations and different aims of establishing various associations. Importance of alumni associations and peculiarities of membership 1.Alumni associations consist of graduates from certain universities and some people that can contribute to the maintenance of these organizations. 2.Though students can be members of student union and other organizations such as fraternities and interest clubs, they are not supposed to become members of alumni associations. 3.Students that were acquiring knowledge in other educational institutions are not accepted to be members of alumni association of a certain educational institution. 4.Alumni associations are not the same as dissertation fellowships of student unions; they should not provide some assistance if they are not required to do that in accordance with their statute. 5.Some alumni associations can provide current students with constructive feedbacks on their writing as a part of their fellowship activities and dissertation coaching.
