David Beckham bowed out of America on a high after winning the MLS Cup for the second time with LA Galaxy. At the end of season celebrations he said goodbye to the fans, and thanked them for their support over the past six years.
It was farewell to LA for David Beckham this week: he may not have quite cracked America, but he did at least attend lots of parties and giggle winningly on plenty of chatshow sofas – not to mention winning a trophy or two.
Beckham’s final match brought a second consecutive victory in the MLS Cup, the LA Galaxy coming from behind to beat Houston Dynamo 3-1.
Beckham has suggested he might fancy another go in the Premier League, with Harry Redknapp already whizzing down his Range Rover window for a well-you-never-know-in-this-business intervention.
Failing that, Australia, China and the attractively tax-free principality of Monaco are all rumored to be Beckham-curious.
