The development of Islamic education in the Eurasia, legal and civil aspects of religion, problems and prospects of the development of traditional religious institutions were discussed today in the 8th Muslim Forum in Moscow.

The forum was attended by leaders of religious and social organizations, scholars, representatives of scientific and expert communities, leaders of Islamic schools in Russia, and representatives of public authorities.

The Forum was opened with the reading of the Quran, and welcome words of the Chairman of the Russian Council of Muftis.

The Russian Muslim Forum has become a common place for exchanging views in Islamic scientific community.

Decisions that are made at the annual forum influence educational projects throughout the year, says a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
